The Colorado Springs-based 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office is underfunded, overwhelmed with felony cases and in a state of turmoil, according to seven lawyers who previously worked there. The former employees said they felt overworked in what some called a "toxic" environment that harmed their mental health.
