Baker Stevenson was a lot closer to the cut line than the top of the leaderboard nine holes into the Michigan Open. Sitting at 5-over-par as he made the turn during the first round Monday at the Bear course at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, golf became more of a mental game than ever for the 2015 Hartland High School graduate.
