On June 7, Steven Gonzalez, 30 of Alamogordo, was indicted by grand jury on charges of second degree murder, tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gonzalez is accused of killing Eddie Artiaga in 2020.
